The cake part is the crown of the hat which is a Mexican Chocolate cake with a kick of cayenne pepper and cinnamon filled and covered with BC. The brim is gumpaste and the figure is fondant/gumpaste. It is arranged on a RI covered board made to look like corrugated roofing.
