This is my first attempt at an Elmo birthday cake. I used white, store-bought icing and dyed it. I printed an Elmo face online and layed it on the cake and outlined it with black icing using tip 3. Then removed the pattern and filled it in with stars using the star tip 18. For the nose I spooned in the orange icing. The cake is a chocolate vegan double layer cake.
