Thanks for the compliments re-corners. I owe everything to all the experts advice on the forum and some great videos on youtube re covering a square cake. I had watched them SO many times I could just picture her as I was doing my own and could almost hear her saying "cup your hands as you deal with each corner" "pull out the skirt at the coners as you work round the sides."So really it is because so many have been willing to share their expertise that I managed to do it.I do love being creative .
it is an acrylic separator the lid lifts off and it can be filled with flowers,sweets or in my case organza ribbon to match the colour scheme. The Topiaries in the background on the window ledge were all hand made by myself (including each rose) and the ribbons on them matched the separator contents .What you put in is entirely up to your choice.The say it will hold liquid but I wouldn't like to risk that as it was only balacing on cake. below using dowels as in the other cakes so could cause a mess if kn
