Strawberries and Cream Cake cut in circles, filled with cream cheese frosting and then covered in fondant to resemble "candles". I made 8 of these mini cakes - some strawberry and some brown maple walnut with brown sugar buttercream frosting. I used a candle holder as a stand and wrapped each "cakelet" in zebra print vellum paper. It was for my mom's birthday, and she was looking for her cake when I brought it in...and I said, "here it is." I am learning, so I welcome comments and suggestions.
