Thanks everyone, and on the purple on it's actually a mistake! I used purple icing and then sprinkled purple sparkling sugar on it - it looked like a blob, so I went back over it with white icing and LIGHTLY sprinkled some more purple sugar. Most definitely will do white first next time!
