Beautiful cake and the flowers are great! How did you get the diamonds so deep and even?
thanks! I used a diamond impression mat (cakes stores and online) and pressed it into well crusted buttercream. Then added tip 3 balls at each intersection. Hope that made sense....
Very lovely. Where'd you get the tulle?
Sometimes cake shops have tulle, otherwise you can buy it (cheap) at Walmart or a fabric store. I usually just get white so I can put any color over it, others get it in colors.
Beautiful!! Ok, I've never seen this before... am I understanding it correctly? You pipe the flower on top of the tulle? It's a very pretty look for sure!
Love the diamond cut and the flowers are amazing.
petals are cut from tulle, tacked over wax paper on lg flower former. Pipe over tulle w/ royal tip 2, let dry. GENTLY remove from flower former. Use more royal to attach petals/leaves into flower shape.
