I am just a mom trying be better at decorating and learning so much from all of you, thanks. This cake was the first time I used fondant, ever. I mixed the colors myself. This was the first cake I made after any cake class I took, just a two hour tutorial with a local person for a group of us, not anything formal like Wilton classes. The frosting is Buttercream and the flowers and petals are with fondant. I created the heart shape using a round and a square cake pan, then cutting the round cake in half and adding one half to each side of the square cake (positioned in a diamond formation).
