I did this cake for a big friend of mine, who has the most adorable 1 year old... since she loves to dress him in blue so much, what better than the smurfs for them? At first, i thought the cake was a disaster, i forgot to add the eggs while baking and just noticed it when it was already on the hoven. So the cake was a mess! But with the help of a lot of raspberry jam and patience, i was able to make smthg that at least resembles an open book. Chocolate butter cake with fresh strawberry filling and raspberry jam, covered with marzipan (i was out of white suger paste). Hope u like it :D
