Red velvet cake with bettercream-coconut-pecan filling (delicious!!) covered in white chocolate ganache and MF fondant. Shoe, tissue and rose are gumpaste. Gucci logo , barcode, name and b-day message are edible images. This was for my daughter's b-day and she loved it! Inspired by many cakes in this site, but I especially want to thank Macsmom, Eneq and Cakeflake for their kindness and patience with my never-ending questions---thank you ladies you're tha' best!! :) I also want to thank Geechigirl for sharing her shoe template. This was my first shoe-box cake and I was 'somewhat' happy with it, but there's many things I'd do different next time.
