Butter cream rose with gold dust. A three tiered golden anniversary cake. Top Tier is chocolate, middle tier is vanilla, bottom tier is a layer of vanilla, and a layer of chocolate. I was asked to make a replica of the couple's wedding cake.I was sent a photo from 50 years ago. I copied most of the detail work from the photo. The cake topper is original, from 1960. The base of the cake topper, was an actual cookie! I made the white bow with gold trim to cover up the bad discoloration of the lower portion of the wedding cake topper.
