Back on Christmas 2009, I cut my finger while slicing potatoes and ended up having to have surgery to repair the tendons. After 6 months of monthly visits so my surgeon could check my progress, she decided I didn't need to come back anymore. I still have to go to therapy for it though. My therapist is going to be moving into a different building and wants to have a "grand opening" cake when she does. I decided to make a practice cake, and gave it to my surgeon as a thank you.
