This was my first cake - I made it for my nephew's 3rd birthday. I had 3 cakes and 12 cupcakes to make in one day, so I didn't have time to re-bake it. I had to decorate this one the following morning, as we were leaving to go to Disney that afternoon and were dropping it off on our way. I was able to cover the crack with icing, but it didn't hold and the icing ended up cracking as well. At least it was for family and they were able to see it before it cracked!
