Watermelon Cake for July 4th picnic

Got inspired by other cakes like these on cake central! Thanks for all the sharing of ideas! This is all buttercream. I used a checkered pattern paper and then covered board with clear contact paper. Airbrushed green and red color on. Three layer cake, inside was red, white and blue.
