For My Brothers 30 Years Party

My brother wished for "a normal cake or two" for his birthday. After many attempts to find out what "normal" means it turned out that he ment white bottoms. I special ordered from England for this cake, but with my luck it didn't make it here in time (Sweden) so I had to manage with what I had at home. Strawberry and white chokolate mousse inside, covered with marzipan and flowers in gum paste. The golden pattern on the side I painted free handedly with a thin brush. Made 2 same looking cakes.

I've used a edible gold luster powder called "Royal Gold" from Sugarflair. I've dissolved the powder in a bit clear alcohol to get a fully covering paint. Then just a thin brush and imagination.
