This is one of the first cakes I made. It is iced in buttercream. I freehand drew the girly skull and filled it in with a small star tip. The border was supposed to be alternating black and red dots. They kept turning into points when I released the pressure and it never occured to me to pat them down after they crusted. I think it added to the punk look of the cake anyways to be pointed anyways, though.
