I fashioned this after a Montana Silversmiths belt buckle for the Rodeo Hall of Fame opening in Pecos. I added local emblems and chocolate western molds. I used three layers of an oval pan and didn't trim the top off the layer to create the rounded look. I used textured paper towel to smooth the sides. If I had it to do again, I would probably use some fondant.
