After seeing the adorable lovebird cake posted by sterretje I just knew I had to do my own version for my DD and DSIL for their anniversary. Thanks for the inspiration! The cake is chocolate with vanilla buttercream, all fondant accents. The birds and branches were cut freehand and I used my (new) extruder to make the rope border. Oh, and sorry about the cake board :(,
