Your buttercream is AMAZING!!! Would you mind sharing your recipe? Any helpful hints on how you smooth your icing would also be very much appreciate. I just can't get over how clean it looks!
Thanks everyone! I use a variation on IndyDebi's buttercream recipe and use either half butter, half shortening or all butter depending on the cake and how "white" I want the frosting. I believe this cake was all butter. I use a bench scraper that I ran under hot water then dried off to smooth the sides first. Then I go back over it with VIVA paper towel. Since I only do buttercream frosted cakes, I've had quite a bit of practice.
