And by simple i mean the design...NOT the decorating process. This was my first traditional wedding cake that i got paid for...VERY stressful to get everything looking smooth and perfect. Not sure i will do anymore.
thanks! they are 6,9,12 and the ribbon i wrapped it around and at the back i had placed a bit of Adtech adhesive(from scrapbooking isle)...comes on a roller thing like white out...could use double sided tape i guess too.
Your cake is beautiful! BTW, I said the same thing while making my first wedding cake. I told my family to shoot me if I ever agreed to make another one! But trust me, it gets less stressful with each one that you finish and get delivered on time! Keep up the good work.
Straight pins with ball heads also work well for fastening ribbon on fondant-covered and buttercream cakes. Just be sure to tell whoever will be serving so no one gets a surprise.
I did my first fondant wedding cake last weekend and I was very stressed out and said I was never doing another wedding cake, but I have another one scheduled in July, so keep up he good work. Your cake looks beautiful!!
