My little sister saw me watching the betty Crocker cake videos, and decided she wanted the groovy jeans cake for her beday. Only, it turned out terrible. Never doing a cut cake again! So, the space between the pants legs where there would normally be cake, got cut out. I was supposed to use that to attach to the bottoms of the pants legs, but was dismayed to find the pan to narrow. My older bro's were more than happy to eat it for me! So.... I froze it foreeeeeeeever in our frezer, and it was still super crumbly. Whatever, I though. "I'll just decorate it". But the icing was to soft, and I didnt have nearly enough! Which would explain the terrible looking sides. You can see every crumb poking through. I didn't have enough icing to cover the corners, so I did that crazy looking ruffle thing that doensn't looke like a ruffle. And then the pocket stitching is terrible, so the pockets are two totally diffferent sizes. :( AAAAnd, how do you like my patch? Also known as blog of frosting that didn't turn out right. I was so dissapointed. My little sister loved it. I know, she's crazy huh?! It might of helped if I used candy for the decorations, but... Oh, not doing cut cake ever again! I'll stick with round cakes and sheet cakes and hearts and such. Any advice on how to do anything would be greatly appreciated! ~Rachel~
