50th Anniversary Cake

All buttercream with gumpaste flowers made to match the topper and metallic ribbon. Carried this through the pouring rain and up 2 flights of stairs while my husband followed with the 14" granite cake stand!

BEAUTIFUL!!!! I've got a 50th Annv. cake to make next weekend, I've been doing cakes now for a little over a year, but hav'nt tried or know now to make that pattern on the sides. It looks perfect!! please tell me how to do this on the cake I'm getting ready to make! Thank you! 8O
