I made this as a birthday cake. This was for 2 girls who love their shoes/purses and jewels. I initially had the cakes on top of ground up graham crackers (made to look like sand) but I didn't put icing down as "glue" so the cakes were sliding all over. I decided to place the cakes on a new cakeboard without the "sand" since the cake needed to be transported to another place.
