Wow!! One of the cutest cakes ever! How in the world did you do those perfect letters and the flowers on the 2? And did you spend like 8 hours individually glueing the hairs on that adorable hedgehog? Way cool.

What a neat, sweet and extremely pretty cake :)

The letters are done with tappits, the flowers on the 2 is done using an embossing roller and yes, the spines on the hedgehog were glued on, one by one, with royal icing. I used an extruder to get the spines.

Thanks for all the nice comments. This is so far my favourite cake that I've done. i didn't want to let the client have it! Her sister is a friend of mine so I can get the hedgehog back if I want it...I think I might. I put a lot of time into that little critter!
