Had very specific requests for this cake. From the surfers journal across the man's face to the type of surfboard that I needed to make, to the favorite beer. It was a fun cake to do. The cake is covered in MMF. The rocks are made out of MMF and dipped in sweetened cocoa powder. The man, journal, surfboard and sign are made out of a gum paste/fondant mixture. I used piping gel over blue fondant for the water and then added some very thin royal icing to get the white water look. TFL!
