Inspired by Shayesmomma and mom2twogrlz helmet/hose cake - THANK YOU to both of you!!!!! Made this cake for a friend who was just accepted into the Waterloo Fire Dept. I couldn't decide between the 3 designs, so I just made all 3, even though we didn't need nearly that much cake!! Alternating chocolate and vanilla layers with whipped cookies and cream filling. Iced in SMBC and covered in MMF. Red Fondant is Duff's - tried it for the first time because I didn't want to make that much red fondant - GREAT colour - different to work with, but not bad at all! Waterloo Fire Rescue badge is hand drawn on rice paper over fondant. Ladders are chocolate. TFL!!!!
