This was a birthday cake for my niece who was having a slumber party with 4 of her closest friends. We got a picture of all the girls in advance so we could make the girls feel extra special like they were really a part of the cake. They loved it when they saw themselves on the cake, they didn't even want to cut it. The blanket cover was decorated to match the party decorations, and my nieces' cat that she adores is sitting at the foot of the bed. All the cake decorating for this cake was done in fondant, except the bodies under the covers were rice krispy treats.
