Bridal Cupcake Bouquet
Did these for my cousins bridal shower. I used the 2D Wilton tip to do the rose swirl...what a lifesaver. I started off piping roses, but found the icing was much thicker and seemed the ones sideways might fall off when on the bouquet. Large styrofoam ball is 8" and the smaller 5". Lily's are rubber.
Very nice! I was wondering is the icing managed to hold and not fall off?
sorry for the delayed response, I have not logged-in in awhile. It managed to hold, but a few of the side ones wanted to slip. If it was any hotter I imagine they might have. Luckily I was at the shower, so I would spin the few that wanted to slip. The crusting icing helped for sure.
