What a pretty cake!!! I love the topper how did you make it stand up so straight?

Making the topper is pretty simple. I got the supplies at Michaels in the beading section. The letter itself is shaped out of 18 gauge wire (I chose 18 b/c it's very sturdy - I didn't want anything falling after I dropped off the cake!). After shaping the letter, I slid on 8mm beads, and bent the very ends of the wire over (so the beads wouldn't slip off). To get the topper to stand up, I bent 2 "V" shapes out of wire & placed the V's facing down into the cake. Thanks for the compliments! Try it!

I used the crusting cream cheese icing recipe from this site. Yummy!
