My son's birthday party was themed after the movie "How To Train Your Dragon". The cake is my depiction of the Gronckle which appears in the movie. I used a combination of frosting and homemade fondant to get the scaly skin effect, as well as marshmallows, m&m's, and yogurt covered raisins for the mouth, eyes and "warts". The wings and antennae are made with green/yellow fruit roll-ups shaped around a wire frame. The cake was a huge hit at the party!
