First Stacked Cake
This was my first attempt at a stacked cake....it was more dificult than I thought! How do you put the second cake on without ruining the bottom one?? Well, my friend, the birthday girl was impressed...so I guess that's what matters! :)

Very pretty! As far as not messing up the frosting on the bottom tier, I wish I knew! LOL I always manage to get one of my knuckles covered in frosting. :lol:

Great Cake!!!! If I am using wooden rods to support the top layer I do not push them all the way down into the bottom cake and when I set the top cake on the wooden rods you can sort of let them "ride down" with the rods as the weight of the cake pushed the rods down. Less than a half an inch. :)
