Battlestar Galactica Cylon Raider Cake. (Made for my boss who's bday is conveniently the month before reviews :)) The center tube part is made of twinkies and the rest of the cake is shaped red velvet.. for the ultimate Cylon look when it is cut. The guns are pretzel sticks dipped in frosting, the thrusters are DOTS and the eye slit is made from a piece of pull-apart Twizzlers. There is a layer of strawberries between the two layers of cake for extra blood/gore effect. The frosting was colored dark grey and then the whole thing was airbrushed with silver for a gunmetal effect.
