I did this cake for my daughter's violin graduation from Suzuki Book 1. It was my first attempt at painting fondant, and I am happy with it (it was a shotgun cake, done from bake to finish in just 6 hours, so I'm sure the details would have been better had I had an extra day). The strings were done with jewelry wire, as it was the only thing I had!
