This was my first fondant covered cake. I make the marshmallow fondant from the recipe I found here. The bottom tier was chocolate with raspberry filling and Hershey's Special Dark chocolate buttercream. The top tier was vanilla pound cake with lemon curd and lemon buttercream. Elmo is rice crispy treat covered with fondant and eyes, nose and mouth are gum paste. The cake was a big hit at my daughter's party today!
