This was my first time working with fondant on a real cake. I was quite pleased with the result. The bottom tier was made up of seven 5" round tiers. The 12" tier was centered on the base, and the 9" and 6" tiers were aligned at the back with the 12" tier so as to leave room for the candles and flowers to sit on each tier.

First time huh!!! The swags are beautiful! Were the candles actually lit? I can imagine it melting the fondant a bit. Very beautiful cake!
