My first topsy-turvey cake for my son's 15th birthday. By far the most difficult cake I've made. My son insisted on buttercream frosting (which I failed miserably at smoothing) since he hates fondant but got away with fondant decorations. Toba Garret's chocolate cake with Oreo filling, Scott Woolsey's chocolate mud cake with caramel filling and vanilla butter cake with strawberry filling. I think I'll try the other topsy turvey method next time.
