This was for a client who was hosting her sister's bridal shower. She wanted something a little different than the corset shaped cake so I came up with the gift box with the lingerie in it. She wanted La Perla which is a high end lingerie store as the box. I added the Chanel cosmetic case. Her wedding colors were deep eggplant and dark pink (boy that was fun figuring out)! The box is the cake - red velvet and the cosmetic bag is also red velvet with cream cheese filling and crusting cream cheese icing. The lid was a gift box lid enforced with cake board and covered inside and out with fondant. The bow was gumpaste as were the flowers and gift tag. The cosmetic bag and lingerie were covered in fondant. It's hard to see because of the dark colors but it's a bustier and then laying sideways an embossed bikini with garters. TFL!
