this is a 40th birthday cake made to resemble the birthday girls favorite purse. i added the lipstick, keys and business card to make it look like the purse fell over and spilled out its contents. cake covered in fondant. chain straps made from fondant (VERY time consuming) and though the photo doesn't show it, I dusted them with gold luster dust to resemble a metal chain.
