Silly question: for the copper/bronze parts... you paint it with bronze powder.... do you have a base color underneath? What is it?

I colored the fondant copper (americolor soft gel), afterwards I sprayed it with PME Lustre Spray bronze. Although the fondant turned out to be quite pink, the coverage was very good, and the spots that didn’t cover that well were not very noticeable.
