This cake was for a 2yr olds birthday. For some reason I had a vision of a football ripping through the field and decided to try it. I was going to make the football out of rice krispie treats but decided to make it out of cake. I hand carved the football. I did a count down from 5 to bring the middle line to the number 2 in representation of the birthday boys age. Put a little fondant jersey on the cake with his name and age. This was an all yellow cake with vanilla/almond buttercream.
