I made this cake for a friends father who is turning 55 years young. They have all been teasing him about getting the senior citizen discount at IHOP when he finally reached that 55 mark. What is more appropriate than a big stack of yummy pancakes? I probably had more fun with this cake than any. It is a white cake with yummy butter cream filling and of course covered in MM fondant. The syrup was tinted piping gel and the cake was hand painted with a vodka/icing mix.
