Great job! I bought that pan on ebay some time ago but haven't made it yet .. how did you get that red?

yes...the pan is from 20-25 years ago...a co-worker who's got grown kids now gave it to me when she found out that i was getting into baking cakes! The red in the hair and the arm I cheated and bought a tube of the Wilton red icing because it seems alot of people on CC have trouble getting the deep red....the red for the strawberry is the Wilton red mixed with the hot pink in her hat...it came out kinda orangy - go figure!!
