These are photos of the work that I did for a cake challenge this April 21st, 2010. I had to do a three tier cake, half sheet cake, 1/8 sheet cake , cupcake cake and 2- 9 inch cookies in 4hrs. I finished in 3 with an hour to spare.. whew!! I was so tired when I was done. I was allowed to do my gumpaste work ahead of time, all the flowers, cameos, teapot, cups and saucers and ect. I was so nervous when I got there....I never did that before but after awhile I ignored th watchers and judges and did my work. It was a great experience and Im glad I did it. Cheri Elder was one of the judges, she is a wonderful woman and has won several ultimate cake challenges. When they announced me as the winner, my eyes filled with tears. It was great.
