Swimming Pool Birthday Cake
I copied this out of a magazine. It is two 9 in. rounds (white cake) with the middle cut out of the top layer. Berry blue jello fills the center. The original used chicklets for the "tile" around the border, but I just couldn't see using it for 2 year olds. I then used buttercream for all frosted parts. The lawn chairs, the towels, and the ball were made from starbursts. The diving board handles are the halves of a gummy life-saver. I was pleased with the results. The jello/cake combo was actually yummy!
That is really cute!
