My 8-yr-old son and my husband make a cake each year for the Boy Scout father/son cake bake, and this was their creation this year. They used the directions Debbie Brown's "50 Easy Party Cakes" and did a pretty good job considering they have no experience! My son loves this event each year, so maybe before too long he'll be able to help me! The cake was marble with vanilla buttercream and vanilla fondant details.
