I made this for my daughter's puppy-themed birthday party. Per her request, the legs were strawberry cake with strawberry cream filling, the body was chocolate cake with white chocolate filling and the head was white cake with lemon filling. He's covered in fondant and all of the accessories (bow, tail, ears) are all made out of fondant.
