Here is my donation for the D/SAOC 15th Annual Cake Auction. They have a different logo every year and a friend of mine who is on the cake committee said it would be awesome if I did a cake of their logo. She liked my easter bunny in an egg cake, so I thought I'd use the same method for this. It's butterscotch spice cake. The top hat is frosted with cheesecake buttercream and covered with chocolate fondant and the body is frosted with french vanilla buttercream. The arm and legs are chocolate fondant with dowels as supports. When I dropped it off they said it was cute (although I had a LOT of problems for such a small cake!), but all I could see are the things I had to fix. Not my best cake, but I suppose it could've been worse! They thought it was cute so I guess that's all that matters. Geesh I talk to much! TFL!
