I love it -- is the border "reverse shell"? Is there a trick to getting the shell over the edge of the cake? Very Nice.

Yep, it's the reverse shell in all its glory! :) As for getting it over the side of the edge, just start piping as close to the edge as you possibly can and it will naturally fall over. Very fun!
