Fetus cake

This cake i made for my very good friend. She is in roller derby with me and is a biology teacher at Whitewater University. She had had 3 baby showers already and we knew she didn't want to have anything that was girly. She loved the cake and an extra surprise was when she cut into the red velvet cake-- of course! Baby Marina arrived 2 weeks later healthy and happy.

give you credit for creativity, however this is unsettling to me. I hope noone there has ever lost a little one, because this brings back some not so happy thoughts.

You people need to lighten up! It's CAKE! It's no different than cutting into a pregnant belly cake or a penis cake or any cake. How many of you who have made a negative comment had an abortion? Hmmm?? 10 years ago my 1st child was still-born, but I didn't get offended or had bad memory when looking at this cake. Sheesh! 8)

wow people, really? did you actually look at this cake? see the clamp on the umbilical cord? that indicates a newborn fetus. this is what my kids looked like after my c-sections.... isn't disturbing at all. great job!!

i'm not sure what to think of about subject... kudos for the idea... n detail ... not sure if i could cut into a 3d baby cake... this is y i havent attempted 1 yet... but good work in any case nice thinking outside the box :)
