Well I had this brilliant idea to do a cake that was based on the poem Footprints. I however unsuccessfully pulled it off. This went all wrong my icing would not smooth properly at all. I have only done a few cakes this was my first time filling and stacking. The cake is chocolate with peanut butter and chocolate ganache filling (MIL wanted something like a Reese's Peanut Butter cup) The top of the cake is supposed to look like footprints with brown sugar for sand. Wriiten on it is 'It was then that I carried you' I wasn't going to post a pic but constructive criticism is always appreciated. Thank you!
