This cake was made for a friends colleague who was leaving to set up his own carpentry business, called 'I Got Wood' (isn't that a fabulous business name? lol).

A 7" chocolate mud cake, hand painted with thinned down, brown food colouring. Each of the tools are made of tylosed fondant, so everything is edible (except the poles on the sign and the wire handle on the paint can.)

I had a bit of a problem with the sign, in that the bottom plank broke as I was setting it into the cake - It's a REALLY good job that the subject matter was 'carpentry' so I could just bodge it back together and make it look like it was supposed to happen ;o)
